This page explains how to delete your account in EkDoTeen, the Hindi learning app published by EkDoTeen, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete your account in the app
- Open EkDoTeen at app.ekdoteen.com and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings: the gear button in the top corner on a phone, or Settings at the bottom of the sidebar on a larger screen.
- Tap Delete my account. The button changes to Tap again to confirm; tap it again.
Your account and your progress are deleted straight away and you are signed out. This can't be undone: if you come back later, you start from the beginning with a new account.
If you can't sign in
- Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to get a reset link, sign in, and delete your account as above.
- No longer have access to the email address? Write to support@ekdoteen.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the email address the account uses. We will make sure the request comes from the account's owner, delete the account, and confirm by email within one month.
If you use EkDoTeen without an account
Nothing is stored with us: your progress lives only in your browser. To remove it, choose Reset all progress in Settings, or clear the site's data in your browser settings.
What is deleted straight away

What is kept for a limited time
Some records are kept by the providers who run parts of EkDoTeen for us, and are deleted automatically when their retention period ends. They are not used for anything else in the meantime.

Feedback you sent through the feedback form isn't linked to your account; ask us at support@ekdoteen.com and we will delete it.
If you were also signed in on other devices, the progress saved in those browsers stays there until you sign out on them or clear the site's data.
